Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 2025  ·  Nauven  ·  Perth, Western Australia  ·  ABN 59 130 286 845

01

Our Commitment

Nauven ("Nauven", "we", "us") is committed to handling personal information responsibly and in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to information collected through our website at nauven.com.au, through our services, and through any direct communications with us.

02

What We Collect

We collect personal information only where it is reasonably necessary to deliver our services or respond to enquiries. This may include:

  • From prospective and active clients: name, business name, phone number, email address, and relevant business information provided during discovery, onboarding or ongoing engagement.
  • From website visitors: analytics data such as pages visited, time on site and device type — collected in aggregate and not linked to individual identities unless a form is submitted.
  • From contact forms and booking tools: name, phone number, email address and any details provided voluntarily when making an enquiry or booking a discovery call.
  • From client-provided contact lists: where a client supplies a database of their own contacts for the purpose of running automation sequences, that data is processed on the client's behalf and in accordance with the client's instructions.

We do not collect sensitive information as defined under the APPs — such as health, financial or identity document data — unless it is directly relevant to a specific engagement and the individual has consented.

03

How We Use It

Personal information collected by Nauven is used only for the purpose for which it was provided, or for a directly related purpose. Specifically:

  • To deliver, manage and improve the services agreed with each client.
  • To respond to enquiries and communicate about proposals, onboarding and ongoing engagement.
  • To send relevant service or performance updates to active clients.
  • To process invoices and manage payment records.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use personal information for unsolicited marketing, nor do we add contacts to any mailing list without their knowledge and consent.

04

Disclosure to Third Parties

Nauven does not sell, rent or trade personal information. We may disclose information to third parties only in the following circumstances:

  • Service delivery: where necessary to operate the Nauven Growth Platform and connected AI infrastructure on a client's behalf. These platforms process data under their own privacy terms, which are consistent with applicable privacy law.
  • Legal obligation: where disclosure is required by law, regulation, court order or government authority.

We do not disclose client or contact data to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

05

Overseas Infrastructure

The AI and automation platforms that power Nauven's services are hosted in the United States. This is standard across the industry — the most capable and reliable AI infrastructure currently operates out of US-based data centres. Where your data is processed by these platforms, it is handled under their privacy commitments and in accordance with applicable data protection standards.

We are transparent about this because the Australian Privacy Principles require us to be. In practical terms, it means your data may pass through US servers as part of delivering the service — and we only work with platforms whose privacy practices we are confident in.

06

Client-Provided Contact Data

Where a client provides Nauven with a database of their contacts for the purpose of running automated sequences — such as SMS campaigns, email nurture or database reactivation — Nauven processes that data as a service provider acting on the client's instructions.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they hold appropriate consent from their contacts before providing that data to Nauven. Nauven processes client-provided contact data only for the agreed service purpose and does not retain it beyond the engagement unless the client has requested otherwise.

Upon termination of an engagement, client-provided contact data will be returned or securely deleted at the client's request.

07

Website & Analytics

Our website may use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our content. This data is collected in aggregate and is used solely to improve the website experience. It is not linked to individual identities.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not affect your ability to access the website, though some functionality may be limited.

Our website does not use third-party advertising trackers or share browsing data with advertisers.

08

Storage & Security

Nauven takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes secure access controls, limited internal access on a need-to-know basis, and use of reputable platforms with established security practices.

Where personal information is no longer required for any purpose, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it securely.

09

Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information Nauven holds about you.
  • Request correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, where it is no longer required for the purpose it was collected and there is no legal obligation to retain it.
  • Withdraw consent to receive marketing communications at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through the details in section 11.

10

Updates to This Policy

Nauven may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The current version is always available on this page. The effective date at the top reflects the date of the most recent update.

Where changes are material, active clients will be notified. Continued use of our services or website following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

11

Contact & Complaints

If you have a question about this policy, wish to exercise your privacy rights, or have a concern about how your information has been handled, please contact us through our website. We take all privacy concerns seriously and will respond promptly.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
